Work is carried out in teams - each group taking responsibility for a new weapon system's development. Whether in the design department or in the experimental workshop, the same team works on the future weapon's development, from the beginning until we are ready for production.

PRODUCTION
Heckler & Koch is a leader in technology and state-of-the-art production. The entire organisation is committed to maintaining this competitive technological advantage. The manufacturing facility is divided into cells enabling production, engineering, and quality assurance to operate in a decentralised efficient manner.

The production facility is subdivided into machining methods, special purpose technologies with barrel manufacturing, hardening and surface treatment, assembly, sheet metal processing and materials management.

HIGHTECH
As a technological leader, Heckler & Koch is an innovator in using new materials in small arms production. The plastic injection molding shop manufactures the grip assemblies for individual types of weapons, such as the G36 or the USP. It has streamlined a time consuming, individual process into one that today takes approximately three minutes per component.
