In developing the HK416, Heckler & Koch pursued a single goal: To start off where comparable assault rifles have already reached their limits. The result: Improved combat efficiency “made in Germany”.

This development was prompted by technical studies that showed that comparable assault rifles suffered from significant defects with regard to reliability, safety, accuracy and ease of handling. The HK416 corrects all of these defects.

Thanks to the integrated G36 technology, the modular construction and the innovative design of the handguard, the HK416 represents an innovative assault rifle concept that goes far beyond the usual limits.
