Heckler & Koch announces personnel changes on the HK Management Board
Dr. Björn Krönert, the member of the H&K AG Executive Board responsible for the Commercial Resort as CFO, has decided not to extend his contract, which expires next fall.
With effect off 30. September 2023 Dr. Krönert will give off his responsibilities and resign from the Executive Board. Until the end of his contract, Dr. Krönert will continue to perform his duties as before. Dr. Krönert has been a member of the Executive Board of H&K AG since 01. October 2018. Together with the Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. -Ing. Jens Bodo Koch, he has brought Heckler & Koch, in difficult times, from a situation that in some cases threatened its very existence back into safe waters with excellent prospects for the future.
"I had 5 excellent years at Heckler & Koch," said Dr. Krönert. "Economically, it was the most successful period in the company's history to date and it has been a great honor for me to contribute to it together with our employees and to successfully shape the operational and financial restructuring. After long and careful consideration, I have now decided to leave decided to redefine my personal goals once again, after these intense and exciting times."
Dr. Rainer Runte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HK AG said, "Dr. Krönert has made a significant contribution to the recovery and success achieved by Heckler & Koch to date. I respect his personal decision and I thank him on behalf of the Supervisory Board for his extraordinary commitment and outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. As soon as the succession is completed, we will communicate this. Until the end of September 2023 Dr. Krönert will continue to accompany us constructively and with full energy. For this I would also like to thank him on behalf of the company.
